is the smallest commercially produced model railway in the world and has been launched in Japan in 2006. T gauge takes its name T from Three, which relates to the 3mm track gauge.
The scale of T is 1:450, around half the size of Z gauge and a third the size of N gauge.
The trains are powered by micro motors (4.5v) which get their power from the rails. The powered wheels are magnetic so this helps with traction and connection. Usually, T gauge locs will also have directional lighting.
