Regal Doll Manufacturing Company

The Regal Doll Manufacturing Company of Trenton, NJ and New York city, USA, was previously know as the German American Doll Company and changed their name again in 1937 to the Regal Doll Corp.

In October 1933 they acquired the Horsman Doll Company and continued to produce dolls under each trade name of Regal and Horsman. Regal made all composition dolls and composition and cloth Mama and Baby dolls using the trade name of 'Kiddie Pal Dolly', in the 1930's they added Patsy types.

The Horsman line of dolls were the superior brand, thus by late 1937 the Regal name disappeared and by 1940, only the Horsman dolls and company name remained.

My grandmother worked in a doll factory in New Jersey in the 1950’s-60’s. What was name of factory and how do I know if I have those dolls in my possession (I was born in 1954)
I am not sure but I'm leaving your question here so let's hope other visitors can tell you more.

Hello! I’ve found a ‘Regal Doll’ that’s been buried in my closet for quite some time. It says that it was made in Taiwan. Do you have any idea what it might cost?
No idea, but you could have a look here to see if you can find yours: Regal Doll Taiwan.

I have an old regal baby doll made in Canada. I'm 58 and I got it when I was very young maybe 4,or 5. It's got a lovely girlish face and short course blonde hair and is about 15inches long but it has boy parts down below. I was wondering is this is rare and how much would it be worth? Thank you, from Vicki, from Australia
Hi Vicki, I'm sorry, I can't give you an estimation... Best is to browse eBay to see if you can find the same or a similar Regal you have. Probably around 50-60 AUD.

I have a pretty little black doll that is vintage. I got her as a little girl. I am now 64. She has her mouth open and lipstick on. I can't seem to find out anything about her.
Hi, have you tried Google images? Maybe you can find one as yours.

I found a Regal House sweetheart doll named Bethann (yes she still had the tag around her right wrist) at a yard sale. I have been trying to look her up to find the history of this doll . The Regal House stamp is on the back of her neck. Could you give be some background information on this beautiful doll?
