Pola is a Faller brand for G scale model structures and buildings for garden railroads.

logoPOLA was founded in 1957 by Horst Pollak, a businessman from Schweinfurt. Later the company moved to Rothenhausen / Franken. The 49-year-old founder was killed on April 16th April 1985 in a plane crash near Zell am Ebersberg. Otto Andreas Schrüfer from Munich took over.

The production of model kits started on the first of February 1997, by the Faller brothers, which, however, only took over trademark rights and production, but not land, buildings and workplaces. 30 employees were laid off, the site Rothenhausen was abandoned.

What happen to the American style G-scale buildings by Pola? Will they ever come back? Who has the molds or tooling for the buildings? Its a shame that their gone. It would be nice to see them back in to production.
I have no idea Jamie. Maybe you can get more information regarding these Pola (Faller) buildings on gaugemaster.com/pola.html.

Looking for waldau railway station 906 by POLA for my g scale trains, If you know were I can find this station please let me know and the cost. Thank You, Larry Schmidt
With the smoke generator. Rare item... but some sellers unfortunately don't provide the number (in this case 906) in their descriptions. So maybe you can browse regularly through auctions with pola stations or in Germany: Pola Bahnhof to try and locate this item.
