Founded in the 1950's in Tokyo, this small Japanese toy maker is known mainly for it's vehicle toys.

They currently produce a wide range of mechanical and electrical components, but they are presumed to have stopped toy production in the early 1970's.

I just purchased a tinplate friction Mitsubishi Colt Galant (4 door) red, mint with box by Ichiko. It is 33cm long. I'm just wondering the value of this as I can't find any information when I google it.
►reply: Sorry, I can't find any info on this either... Try to get an estimate if you look at the approx. age and look at other model cars by Ichiko from the same period.

I have an Ichiko PU tin plate Kanto Toys and is a 1955 Chevrolet coin operated bank car; you put in a quarter and it runs and drives. I have not been able to locate another. Any ideas?
►reply: Sounds amazing, never heard of it! Maybe another visitor can shed some light on this.

Hi, I have found 2 Ichiko Cars in my closet. 1. Ichiko Mercedes Ambulance (car box in good condition)2. Ichiko US Police PD Cadillac (car in good condition, only under the car there is a tape to keep the battery in place)I would like to know how much these cars are worth.
►reply: One ambulance recently went for 40 EUR and one around 100 USD but both without box. So with box could be between 100 and 200 USD. Police car the same, value between 100 and 200 USD (with box that is).
