Jean Fleischmann Founded his company in Nuremburg in 1877 and started producing toy model steam engines after 1945. In 1928 however, Fleischmann took over the firm of Georg Staudt and in 1938 also many of the Doll model steam engines.

I have a Fleischmann steam model with the marking "14/9". Does anyone know what year this was produced?
Probably late 1950s, early 1960s. If I can get an accurate year I'll update my page.

I have a 122/2 ("spezial")model that is not on the list above. Not sure why. Do you have any idea on the value of this model today? Thank you.
Model added to the list. Build from 1954 until 1962. Demand was low for this one in the days so quite rare. No idea about value though, sorry. Best to compare with similar models.

Can you tell me rhe price for a 155/1 steam roller also where can I purchase a nut or wingnut for the roller steering shaft? Thanks
In December 2017 one was sold for 165 USD. I don't know where you can get parts, try a model steam engine forum.

I have a Fleischmann engine and car and a Varney engine and 2 cars some track ( in boxes) and some grass. These have gone through a small fire but only the track boxes are scorched. I also have a Varney price booklet from 1955. I would be will to give these to someone who loves these old trains as much as me when I was a kid. I would only ask for the price of shipping.

Have you considered ebay to sell your engine? A lot of steam collectors are looking there to expand their collections.
