Aoshin was an older toy company with roots in Japan's post-war tin toy manufacturing. In the 1950's, Aoshin produced several classic tin robots (including the 'Tremendous Mike Robot' and the 'Chime Trooper') and a variety of model tin cars, all marked with their 'ASC' logo trademark.

Riding into the '70s, however, they found themselves face-to-face with a rapidly growing market for diecast toys instead.

Couldn't find a Aoshin one, also I don't know about value sorry! However, I found this one, but not sure if it's an Aoshin.

I have noticed that all the smoking volkswagens on these sites are orange. I have one that is red, what can you tell me about it? It is in mint condition, still in the box. The box is in poor condition.Thank YouGary Brown
