Tipp and Co. | TippCo toys

Founded in 1912 in Nuremberg, the Tipp & Co. toy company was named after one of its founding directors, Miss Tipp.

Its founder was Philip Ullmann, who was forced to flee to England in 1933 where he founded Mettoy, later to become producers of the famous Corgi Toys.

Specialty: Military line of tin toys. These Tipp's military vehicles are among the finest clockwork tin toys produced in the Pre-War Era as well as other toy companies that produced tin windup toys of high quality such as Lineol and Elastolin.
