Politoys history
In 1960 came the first model from Politoys. This was a plastic model in 1:41. Then they went on with 1:43 metal models. They also produced smaller (1:64) and larger (1:24) models. Politoys molds were later sold to Russia, where models were still produced for many years under the name Politoys.
In the 1970s they stopped using the name Politoys. Later, Politoys changed to Polistil and eventually was taken over by Tonka and burago.
